Ed is Director and Co-Founder of the Institute of Sports Humanities (ISH).

ISH teaches the MA Leadership in Sport in partnership with Loughborough University London.

ISH’s mission is to nurture and inspire sport’s current and future leaders - giving them the tools to make better decisions, the breadth to adapt ideas from different disciplines, and the range to understand the essential social, political and cultural context in which sport takes place.

ISH draws on the personal experiences of world class practitioners at the top of sport today, as well as the latest academic research and analysis. ISH gives sport’s current and future leaders an intellectual framework to help them shape how sport is governed, played, consumed and understood.
